Dzien Babci i Dziadka (Grandma and Grandpa Day)

In Poland, it's Grandma and Grandpa Day this weekend.
Just wanted to wish our babies' grandparents a wonderful weekend!

Niech od Bałtyku aż do stóp Tatr

Żyją nam Babcie, Dziadkowie 100 lat!

 

And lets not forget our Great Grandparents!

Bird Feeders

Kacper and I made some bird feeders today.
Idea and inspiration came from my most favourite Polish magazine: Weranda Country.

Here are the ingredients.

We melted the lard, just enough to mix well, not to a liquid.

When it freezes, it's still greasy and soft, but holds well outside.

Popsicles and Randoms

Kacper wanted ice-cream.

So we improvised and made our own popsicles.

Water and Raspberry juice.

I took the boys outside today.

Kacper was overjoyed!

I even found some flowers poking in from the ground!

I can't wait for Dominik to walk.

They'll have such a blast in the backyard.
