Make sure your jars are sterilized.
For instructions on how to sterilize your jars,

My sister and I started our little garden inside last week.
Everything is growing so nicely.
Another sneak peek into our new home. A few garden pics and what's to come...

My dog loves to eat the dandelions blossoms so I would have to beat her to them to make this. About how many dandelions do you need to pick? A pound or more? I would love it if you would link up to my party at http://www.claimingourspace.com/2012/04/tout-it-tuesday-2.html
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to comment! I picked them from my backyard, so I had about 5 or 6 handfulls. After you take all the yellow petals off the green head, you're not left with much, but it's all about the essence. It's very similar to honey and very good for a soar throat for kids! Just give them a spoonfull of this and they'll be much better ;o)
DeleteThat is much less than I thought. Sadly, I should have no problem getting that many out of my front yard. We have too many growing in our grass. Also, thanks so much for sharing on Tout It Tuesday. I will be tweeting this on Sunday.
DeleteThanks!! Well, I only got two small jars, so if you have more the better, plus the essence will be stronger so it'll be more flavorful. I didn't have that many in my yard. Hope you try it!!
